About Amanda

When life starts to feel overwhelming, it is easy to put ourselves last. My priority is to create a safe environment and trustworthy relationship where we get to step outside the norm and put you first. My passion is rooted in a desire to advocate for individuals who have felt overlooked or misunderstood in their mental health journey and need support along the way.

My areas of interest include disordered eating, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I value working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and life stages. The counseling relationship is central to healing, and my goal is to match your energy, accept you as you are, and build a space where you feel both comfortable and challenged to grow.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. You are the expert in your own life, and together we will collaborate to identify goals and strategies that feel meaningful, supportive, and genuinely helpful to you.

In my free time, I enjoy taking trips with loved ones, watching TV, and getting outside with my dog—whether that is paddle boarding or hiking. I am always on the lookout for new music recommendations and love any opportunity to connect with others over shared interests.

I am honored to walk with you as you move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
