About Kat
Are you feeling stuck in disconnection — from others, from yourself, or from the life you want to lead? Whether you’re moving through trauma, grief, addiction recovery, or a major life transition, healing begins in relationship — in being truly seen, heard, and valued. As a counseling intern, my work is grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory, which centers the importance of meaningful connection in human growth and healing. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the complexities of their experience and begin to move toward more authentic, empowered relationships — both with others and with themselves. I am committed to offering a culturally responsive and LGBTQIA+ friendly therapeutic experience.
I support individuals navigating:
Trauma and its impact on relationships and identity
Addiction and the journey toward self-reconnection
Grief and ambiguous loss
Relational disconnection, loneliness, and isolation
Life transitions and identity development
Group work for shared healing and belonging
I bring a curious, relational presence to each session, and I believe deeply in the transformative power of mutual empathy and connection. In my free time, I love to connect with friends, have puppy play dates, spend time outdoors, and turn my thoughts/feelings into crafts. If you’re ready to begin or continue your healing journey in a supportive, collaborative space, I invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment. Let’s see if we’re a good fit.
