Treasure Valley Therapy, LLC, is proud to be the only mental-health clinic in the state of Idaho to feature and utilize the state-of-the-art training system known as VALT by Intelligent Video Solutions (IVS). This innovative system focuses on secure video observation and session recording designed specifically for education, healthcare, and research environments. IVS’s technology allows the clinic to enhance clinical training, strengthen assessment and supervision, and support evidence-based practices across all levels of care.
At its core, Treasure Valley Therapy exists to support the community by providing expert, compassionate mental-health services. The VALT system allows the clinic to further that mission by increasing the standard of care available in the region. By investing in advanced training tools, Treasure Valley Therapy is also investing in the next generation of clinicians—ensuring that the community benefits not only today, but also for years to come.
Katie Whiting, MS, LMFT, began Treasure Valley Therapy in 2021 as a solo practice. As she worked with clients, Katie became increasingly aware of a growing need within the community—both for accessible mental-health services and for well-trained, confident clinicians. Having expert, high-quality therapists, starts with how they are trained.
The VALT system creates intentional space for growth at every stage of a clinician’s journey: for students to build foundational skills, for interns to develop their clinical presence, for newly licensed therapists to grow into their specialties, and for seasoned clinicians to refine and elevate advanced therapeutic techniques.
